The Bachman Foundation is set up to provide East Tennessee students with financial assistance to obtain an individualized education through public, private, and vocational schools.
All applicants must submit a letter outlining why they wish to receive financial assistance from the Bachman Foundation. Further information about the application process is available on the “Apply Now” page.
Our Mission: The Mission of the Bachman Foundation is to provide financial assistance in order to facilitate educational opportunities for students in East Tennessee who learn differently.
Mark A. Frizzell, M.Ed., is the Executive Director of the Bachman Foundation. Mark was the CEO at Bachman Academy, and has been with Bachman since 2006.
As an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry; Mark has over 27 years’ experience in non-profit organizations, event planning, customer service, and strategic planning.
Mark graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and a minor degree in Psychology. He graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2006 with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
With wife Gale of 34 years, Mark resides in Cleveland, Tennessee and has one daughter, Bailey.
